Extensively restored 1958 Corvette 2 top roadster with stunning
Signet Red paint, white coves and red interior. The 1958 Corvette
is very special with its one year only chrome trunk suspenders and
louvered hood. This rare roadster is powered by the original 283
cubic inch engine. The casting number, suffix code and date code
are correct for the build date.
The engine bay is show quality with correct ignition shielding,
chrome air cleaner, aluminum Corvette script valve covers, and a
3-speed manual transmission to put the rubber to the road.
The chrome bumpers, grill, headlight bezels, trunk suspenders,
fender spears and other brightwork were re-chromed and polished at
the time of the restoration a few years ago and are exceptionally
nice. Very good gaps and panel fit throughout the fiberglass body.
You have options with both the white convertible top and matching
red hardtop for those cooler days or safe storage. The red interior
was also restored with seat upholstery, new door panels, fitted
carpet, beautifully painted dash, clear and crisp gauges, correct 3
spoke Corvette steering wheel, AM radio and polished bezels. This
American Dream Machine is rolling on painted to match steel wheels
with Corvette spinner caps and wide white radial tires for iconic
good looks.
