Vehicle Description
This 1988 Ford Mustang GT Convertible has the best features like a
desirable red-on-red style, air conditioning, and you control the
5.0 V8 with a five-speed. It all makes for a well-priced drop-top
that makes it fun to hit the road.
Ford really understood the market when they updated the Mustang GT
later in its 3rd generation. They created an icon with the body kit
that looked straight from a race car, and that performance image is
only heightened by a bright red appearance. And those 16-inch
alloys were so cool they practically became icons all on their own.
We even like how this all-American pony car has some European-like
appeal with the rear luggage rack. This is a highly stock setup
where even the paint may be the factory finish, and it's suspected
that the odometer represents the right mileage with one 100k
rollover added in. It makes for a nice way to have a lot of blue
oval originality, and in this case, the value price leaves room in
your budget if you're looking for updates or personalization. And
no matter how you choose to enjoy this, you can see that you get
quite a nice driver's setup from day one.
The black convertible top looks good against the red paint, and
it's always desirable to have a glass rear window. But as much as
we like the look with the roof in place, of course, this is best
with the top down. The red interior reminds us that there's just
something extra special about the look of a pony car with a full
red package inside and out. There's even a handsome red convertible
boot to complete the color package. The bucket seats have terrific
bolstering, and since they are finished in cloth, there are no
worries about wearing shorts on sunny days. There are nice factory
options like power windows, a power convertible top, cruise
control, power mirrors, and air conditioning. And the upgraded
AM/FM/CD stereo means better driving music. The grippy dual-spoke
sport steering wheel feels great in your hands, and the tilt column
means good comfort and a clear view of the full gauge package.
The engine bay appears just as stock as the rest of the car. That's
a good thing because the fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8 has built a
reputation for its stout performance. And while that makes for a
good classic, a true GT is for those who love driving. You take
full control of the V8 five-speed manual transmission. Plus, there
are power brakes, front discs, power steering, grippy Falken tires,
and sway bars front & rear.

that you're going to love to drive. Call today!!!
