this car.
Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this exceptionally nice and
numbers matching 1971 Pontiac Firebird Esprit in fantastic
condition. This Firebird looks fantastic, runs great, and is an
excellent driver. The Lucerne Blue (26) over Blue interior (211) is
a beautiful color combination that looks great on the car. It is
also the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes
on the trim tag, which is pictured in this ad. This is an excellent
opportunity to own a desirable classic Firebird that is ready to be
used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this
car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to
come as the market on the second generation F-bodies (Firebird and
Camaro) is strong right now and on the rise, especially for clean
examples like this car. The low original mileage is verified not
only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title,
pictured in this ad, showing the mileage as "Actual." Please peruse
all of the photos, video, and information to get a true sense of
how nice and original this Firebird really is.
Besides the beautiful color combination, the A/C system in the
Pontiac has been fully converted to R134a. It is truly a pleasure
to be able to cruise around on a hot day with the cold A/C. Small
things like that make this car wonderful to enjoy no matter the
weather. We have personally put 100+ miles on this car recently.
During that time the car was a true pleasure to drive with no
issues whatsoever.
As a side note, this Pontiac Firebird is not a dealer auction
vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our
classics come from owners who expect their car to go to someone
that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.
We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have
the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture.
We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel
confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the
Firebird, just give us a call.
Exterior
The Lucerne Blue exterior is in excellent driver condition. As one
can see in the photos the finish has a terrific gloss, deep shine,
and smooth finish. The chrome and other bright work is in great
shape with a brilliant finish and no pitting. Both doors open and
shut nicely. Often many Firebird's will have particularly chipped
up front ends, this car does not. The 18 inch US Mags wheels are in
beautiful condition with a brilliant finish and no curb rash. These
wheels combined with the car being slightly lowered give it a great
look and a fantastic stance that stands out from most other Trans
Ams/Firebirds. The tires are sized 235/35R18 in the front and
285/35R18 in the rear and have about 90% tread left. There are no
major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the
photos. There is some faint bubbles around the rear taillights and
some other very tiny blemishes that were too small to show up in
the pictures, but nothing else that is really noticeable from about
five or ten feet away. As one can see in the many photos of the
underside of the car, it is very clean underneath. We have included
specific photos of the rear spring mounts, rockers, lower quarter
panels, and the areas most prone to rust to show how nice this car
looks.
Window Date Codes
Please note that ALL of the glass on this Pontiac is date coded and
original as each piece predates the car's body build date of 01E,
which is the fifth week of January, 1971. Original glass is a good
indication that this car has had no major accident history and
never sustained significant damage.

this window is original made in October of 1971 and correct as it

Interior
The Blue interior in this Esprit is in amazing condition. The gauge
faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal clear. The
carpet is also in great condition with no stains, rips, or holes.
This includes the rear carpet, which is often neglected. The
headliner is in great condition with no sagging, warping, or tears.
The woodgrain looks nice with no peeling or delamination. The seats
are in great shape and look just as nice in person as they do in
the photos with no split seams, rips, or excessive wear. The seat
is not overly worn in the typical area on the bolster where the
driver gets in and out and there is just a small amount of wear
there. The original dash is in good condition with no cracks,
fading, or sun damage. The door panels are in excellent shape
overall and the door pulls are solid and intact. This Firebird has
never been smoked in; there are no burn marks and no aroma of
cigarettes.
Firebird interiors from this era are not known to wear well and the
excellent condition of this interior is a huge testament to the
meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its
life.
Mechanical
This Pontiac seems to be in good mechanical condition. As stated
above we have driven this car over 100 miles with absolutely no
problems. The original 350-2 starts right away every time, runs
well, and idles smooth. The car drives great and feels nice on the
road and at highway speeds. In the video in this ad one can observe
the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting
through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some
curves. Please note that there are no vibrations or strange noises
and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes do not pull to
one side or the other. The transmission shifts well through the
power band. There is no blue smoke when starting or driving the
car. The car runs cools and does not overheat. This Trans Am has a
wonderful exhaust note that doesn't get old. Also, the engine
compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as one can
see in the photos.
The horn works as do all the exterior lights, interior lights,
radio, indicators, dash lights, and wipers; even the key buzzer
still works. All of the gauges work. The blower for the heater and
a/c works on all speeds. The a/c also works as mentioned above and
blows cold. One can observe the a/c compressor clicking on and
engaging properly in the video. The complete operation of the
headlights, brights, and turn signals can be viewed in the video in
this ad. The car has a true dual exhaust with no catalytic
converter and a healthy exhaust note as one can hear in the video.
Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive
this car.
Overall Condition
Overall, this 1971 Firebird is in magnificent driver condition. The
low miles, the beautiful original color combination, and the
excellent overall condition make this car especially important and
hard to duplicate. It is very hard to find a Firebird or Camaro
from this era that is sti...for more information please contact the
