Description:
This 1979 Ford F-350 Ranger pickup is finished in brown and tan
over brown and beige vinyl and cloth upholstery and is powered by a
460ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission. The
Camper Special Package added heavy-duty shocks and front and rear
stabilizer bars, and additional features include a chrome front
grille and bumper, swing-out mirrors, a tow ball, dual fuel tanks,
air conditioning, cruise control, and an AM radio.
Interior:
The cabin features seating surfaces reupholstered in brown vinyl
and beige cloth. Interior amenities include cruise control, air
conditioning, a rubber floor covering, woodgrain trim, and a
push-button radio. The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph
speedometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil
pressure, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows
96k miles.
Exterior:
The truck left the factory finished in Walnut Glow and Light Sand
and is said to have been partially refinished under prior ownership
following the replacement of the passenger-side door. Exterior
details include a chrome front bumper and grille, swing-out
mirrors, a painted rear step bumper, a tow ball, and Camper Special
badging on the front fenders. Hail damage is noted on the cab roof,
and the left-front fender is dented.
Drivetrain:
The 460ci V8 was factory rated at 220 horsepower. The ignition coil
is said to have been replaced by the selling dealer. Power is
routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed SelectShift automatic
transmission. Light Sand-finished 16? steel wheels are mounted with
265/75 StarFire SF-510 tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted
front discs and rear drums. The Camper Special package added
heavy-duty shocks and front and rear stabilizer bars.
