1966 Pontiac Catalina Convertible brought to you by Zoom Classic
Cars. This classic beauty has only had two owners throughout its
life, which is a testament to its overall very good condition.
Purchased by the original owner in 1966 and stayed in the same
family until 2012 when purchased by the current owner. The car is
equipped with its original matching numbers 389 cubic inch engine,
equipped with a 2 barrel carb, and coupled with a smooth 3-speed
automatic transmission. The 389 V8 was a legendary powerplant,
known for its performance and durability. Power steering and power
brakes. Red on Red with black power convertible top in overall very
good condition. Red vinyl interior is in very good condition with
no rips or tears in the seating. Minor tears on the passenger side
door panel near the window crank as shown. Full gauge cluster
including clock and an aftermarket Alpine Radio mounted under the
dash. Top half of engine was done in 2018, includes all new Felpro
gaskets throughout and engine runs strong. The red repaint is in
overall very good condition with some minor imperfections as shown.
All the body panels line up nicely and all of the chrome and
badging is intact and in nice condition. Trunk compartment is
spotless and like new. Undercarriage is solid and clean with only
minimal surface rust evident reflecting the car's well maintained
status. Some additional minor issues include a few windshield
chips, and a small dent in the center of the front bumper and a
scratch on the back of trunk deck lid as shown. New tires mounted
on steel rims with original factory hubcaps. A Solid cruiser that
is reasonably priced, turnkey and ready to enjoy. Stored in MA with
clean title in owner's name. Includes 1966 Pontiac workshop manual.
