Vehicle Description
STK 10285 1947 Mustang Model 2
The Mustang was a lightweight motorcycle built by Gladden Products
Corporation in Glendale, California from 1946-1965 as a transition
between a scooter and a full-sized motorcycle. British Villers
engines were hard to come by after the war, so Gladden purchased
the Busy Bee Company, a manufacturer of small engines. In 1947,
they introduced the Mustang Model 2 utilizing the new Busy Bee
320cc side-valve single cylinder engine and a 3-speed Burman
transmission (made in England). This 1947 Mustang Model 2 has been
fully restored and runs well. The consignor does not have a title
for this scooter, but we will get it titled for you. ALL VEHICLES
SOLD "AS-IS".
