RARE, RARE, RARE! When was the last time you saw a Fox Body Mustang
or its sister car, the Mercury Capri with t-tops? It doesn't happen
often. Only 1,342 Mercury Capris were built with t-tops in 1985,
and only 338 had this color combination. That makes this a rare and
collectible car that you can drive and enjoy. Chances are you will
be the only Bright Red t-top Capri at any show you would
attend!
This Capri received the Capri 5.0L Package, t-roof, traction
control rear axle, performance radial tires, cruise control, A/C,
rear window defroster, power windows, premium sound system, tinted
glass, light group, power lock group, High Output engine, and a
5-speed manual transmission from the factory! That means this baby
was built to run! The High Output engine, 5-speed manual, and
traction control rear end mean business!
A Marti Report comes with the car along with window stickers and a
clean Carfax! This Capri is clean inside and out! The remote trunk
release inside the glovebox works as it should, which is always a
cool feature. An AM/FM/CD player has been added to bring that
Premium Sound System up to the twenty-first century. The roll-up
hatch cover is still in place, another rare find!
The Fox Body Mustang ran from 1979 - 1993 and the Capri is the
lesser known sister car. The front and rear ends received a
different treatment that is very sporty and cool, and the wheels
are pure 80s/90s style! Anyone who remembers these cars when they
were knew will remember these wheels!
