With its V8 power, four-on-the-floor, an A/C interior, four-wheel
disc brakes, LED headlights, and attractively dark attitude inside
and out, this 1964 Chevrolet Impala is a great cruising classic
with a ton of all-around appeal.
There are two things you first notice about this hardtop: its
distinct style and such an affordable price for an icon. And the
two features go hand-in-hand. The black paint has a true cruiser
feel. That means it's quite sleek and smooth to the touch in most
areas. But the overall fit and body are less about being a museum
piece and more about being driver-ready. So while a show-ready '64
Impala can command double the price, this one just likes looking
good out on the boulevard on a Saturday night. In fact, as you look
at this one inside and out, you'll really see the right investments
for a proper driver. For example, the upgraded LED headlights mean
better vision at night, and their halos look extra cool any time of
day. Plus, all your favorite classic pieces are still in place,
like big chrome bumpers with ribbed inserts, a formal look to the
pillarless hardtop, and clean white inserts in the trim that look
terrific against the black paint.
The black interior has a highly original style where it has the
right maturity while also making good investments to stay inviting
(like newer carpeting.) This is a full-sized coupe that has plenty
of room for everyone across two wide rows of bench seats. There are
also nice upgrades like retro-style AM/FM stereo with an aux input,
Kicker speakers, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. For the
driver, your left hand will feel the grip of the dual-spoke
steering wheel, and your right will be attracted to the Hurst
shifter. So it's the ideal total package to roll down all the
windows on this pillarless hardtop, crank up your favorite music,
and go for a drive.
The engine bay is looking extra tidy, and so it's another reminder
that the true aim here is for a nice cruiser. At the center is a
350 cubic-inch V8. Not only is this a larger small block than what
the factory offered in 1964, but also this has been enhanced with a
Brawler four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and a
sweet-sounding dual exhaust with glasspack-style mufflers. There
are even good supporting components like an HEI distributor and a
Champion aluminum radiator. And when it's time to hit the road, the
transmission gives your firm control over the power. Plus, power
steering and four-wheel power disc brakes (with drilled & slotted
rotors) bring an easy and confident feeling to a classic driving
package.
We have receipts for $15k spent within the last few years showing
solid investments in making this a strong-running, quick-stopping,
and cool-feeling true cruiser. It's a true driver's classic done on
an iconic Impala hardtop. So if you love enjoying the blacktop,
this Impala is the coupe you need. Call today!!!
