Vehicle Description
The C3 Vette was produced from 1968 through 1982 by Chevrolet and
despite all the difficulties for the Auto manufacturers during the
1970's The Corvette still remained "Americas Sports Car". I think
the styling which was so different using the "Mako Shark" design.
This C3 would be a totally new exterior and interior and suspension
using some engine options earlier on from the C2. The 1972 model
would be the last model for front and rear chrome bumpers, which
remain highly desirable among collectors. The key activated
anti-theft alarm became standard and automatic transmissions became
the norm with more than 50% of Corvettes being delivered with
Automatics. This particular car starts, runs, shift, brakes and
goes down the road. It is in need of some attention from most
angles but is all there and was a once loved piece of machinery. Up
until this year it has been off the road for a few years. The top
is in very good condition and operates as it should. The paint
appears to be Marlboro red with some flek in it, The interior is
original with some wear and tear but the gauges and lights appear
to be in working order, the brakes are also working well. There are
numerous scratches and body imperfections throughout. This would
make someone a great cosmetic restoration recipient.
