Restoration done in 2015, work included-eye catching paint job, new interior, replaced 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and a 2.80:1 rear end.
Vehicle is equipped with power black soft top convertible, styled wheels, front disc brakes, upgraded front sway bar, a Shelby-style export brace and Monte Carlo bar, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Pertronix electronic ignition Flamethrower coil, engine dress up kit, power steering, a Rally-Pac tachometer, and a retro-style head unit. “GT” and “289” badging, a trunklid-mounted luggage rack, and LED taillights. The dual-outlet exhaust system exits through the rear valance.
The interior features seating trimmed in black with Pony embossing and replaced door panels and carpeting. Woodgrain trim accents the dash and full-length center console, center armrest with cupholders, Bluetooth retro-style head unit that plays through a newer dual-cone dash speaker.
