1971 Dodge Challenger Convertible with a rebuilt Mopar 383 engine, not original to the car, with a Edelbrock E-street aluminum top end ( heads and intake manifold), Holley Sniper 2 EFI and a mild Iskendarian 994 purple cam with hydraulic lifters. It has CVF Serpentine front drive, aluminum pulleys, magnetic distributor, Sniper 2 controller electric fans, new Dakota Digital dash all with less than 800 miles since engine rebuild. It has a 3 speed Mopar 727 transmission with a deep oil pan. Limited number of challengers convertibles were produced in 1971. Other upgrades and changes include 4 wheel Baer disc brakes with it's own vacuum pump do to he larger cam, Hotchkis upper and lower "A" arms and torsion bars, Viking two way adjustable shocks, Saginaw recirculating ball steer gear, tie rod Heim joints, Ring Brother hood hinges, hallo parking lights.
The car's restoration shows very well. Original an AC car but the AC is not installed. No exterior paint issues, all the chrome is in good shape, glass is clear with no pitting. Convertible top is in excellent condition and functions as it should with a glass rear window and new boot well liner, all weather striping is in place and in good condition, all lights work as intended, parking brake is non functional, White interior is in good shape but does show signs of light use. Front seats have been adjusted two inches higher for better visibility. Steering wheel has been replaced with a 14" NRG custom wheel, AM/FM radio works. Tires are new 225/50 ZR17 Nitto G2's as well as new American Racing wheels VN500.
