Vehicle Description:
This 1969 Pontiac Firebird convertible is finished in GM Rainforest Green over dark green vinyl and powered by a 350ci V8 and a 10-bolt rear axle paired with a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. It has been a Canadian Car with a full history on the last 4 owners from 1973. The car has received several new upgrades to complete the older restoration in preparation for the sale.
The car left the factory finished in Limelight Green and was repainted Rainforest Green and fitted with a new white soft top and rear zip out plastic window.
Rally II-style 14″ wheels are mounted with new BF Goodrich TA tires. Stopping power is provided by front disk brakes and rear-wheel drum brakes.
The original interior is in mint condition and features front bucket seats with new seat foam upgraded with extra support. An aftermarket steering wheel finished in espresso woodgrain with a custom firebird centerpiece adds a distinctive luxurious feel to the driving experience.
The 350ci V8 was factory rated at 325 horsepower and has been modified with an Edelbrock manifold and new 4 barrel carburetor.
The duel exhaust finished in chrome tips produces a nice sounding rumble from stock manifolds.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission.
