June 27, 2023 - Just completed a 900 mile round trip to the Penticton, British Columbia "Peach City Beach Cruise" car show. Most of the trip is through the mountains. Handled like a new truck, smooth and quiet; no problem maintaining highway speeds, and amazing on steep hills.

2022 reconditioning included engine removal for main seal replacement, engine painted and engine bay refinished (including restoring the galvanized inner fenders), all engine gaskets and seals replaced, 429 timing chain installed, new steering box, brake master cylinder, brake hoses, front rotors, pads, bearings and seals, rear wheel cylinders, radius arm bushings, 4 KYB gas shocks, all fluids replaced, new engine mounts, radiator and heater hoses, tune up (fuel and air filters, plugs, PCV etc.), new choke vacuum lines, thermostat and housing, new Motorcraft battery and battery cables, right outer drag link (tie rod), new fuel tank caps, and numerous small repairs. Reconditioning costs exceeded CDN$26,000. All work performed by Dale Adams Automotive Specialists, Western Canada's only authorized Shelby dealer, and recognized performance specialists.
Sold new at Maclin Ford, Calgary in September, 1976; traded for an RV in March, 1977. Second owner owned the truck from March, 1977 to April, 2022.
