Challenger Convertible 6.4L Hemi Engine. 5 Speed Tremec Manual
Transmission. Rotisserie Restoration.. Terry 952-451-2104. $225000
This Professional rotisserie built and custom upgraded 1970 Dodge
Challenger convertible is a beautiful blend of modern performance
under a stealthy stock appearing body. Using the best technology
and merged with classic styling. Great attention to detail was
taken to accomplish the build. It all started with a clean body
that was completely stripped to bare metal, smoothed to a glass
like finish and multiple coats of 2020 Dodge Sinnamon Stick paint
and clear coat applied. The lines are straighter than new, the gaps
are perfect, and the paint is truly amazing in the sunlight.
Powered by a brand new 6.4L 392 Hemi crate engine sourced from
Roseville Moparts. The engine bay features all new Mopar
performance computer system, Mopar accessory drive parts and engine
management systems, that were installed for smooth, reliable
performance. Easy start-ups and confident cruising await the new
owner. A new Griffin aluminum radiator and twin fans keep
everything cooled. Exhaust is accomplished by ceramic coated TTI
headers, Magnaflow exhaust pipes exiting out the rear with new dual
chrome tips. The sound is beautiful to the ears, quiet when it
should be, and a roaring beast when you want it to be. All that new
power is controlled by a Silver Sport Transmission Tremec 5-speed.
The SST Tremec sits under the new wood grained center console.
Under the dash is a new Auto-wire digital wiring system, tied to
new Dakota digital gauges, mounted in the new Rallye dash. Keeping
the interior hot and cold is a new Vintage air conditioning system
with new hoses to the dash. The all-black interior is from
Legendary Interiors featuring leather wrapped front seats and new
back seat covers, all new foam, door panels, and a new 3 speaker,
steel core, matching dash cover as well. Under the new black carpet
and in the doors, is a thick layer of sound deadening to keep the
road noise down. The new interior looks like it just came off the
assembly line. The tilt column features a Rim Blow wood grained
steering wheel. The black power convertible top features new skin,
with new rear glass and goes up and down like it should. A new
liner and new black convertible top boot keep it looking good when
its down. A new audio system has been installed as well, featuring
8 speakers, 2 amplifiers, a 10-inch enclosed subwoofer, that are
all cleverly mounted and hidden in the trunk. The trunk is finished
with leather wrapped and removable aluminum panels for easy access
to storage, new black carpet, and the rear mounted battery. The
headlights and LED sequential taillights, new front and rear
bumpers, new front grill, Challenger T/A inspired spoilers front
and rear, polished chrome all around, all new smoked glass and
weather stripping, complete the look. The car rides on a Riley
Motorsports AlterKtion suspension system front and rear. The under
body was beefed up to provide a great base for the new Hemi. The
front Street Handling System suspension features a Flaming River
power rack and pinion steering system, new engine mounts for the
6.4L, new Wilwood vented and slotted disc brakes front and rear,
and adjustable coil overs on all four corners. The rear Street-Lynx
system includes a new 8-3/4 rear axle housing and new axles, in a
triangulated 4-bar system. The car rides on Yearone 17 x 8 aluminum
Rallye wheels with new BF Goodrich sport comp tires. The car is an
absolute blast to drive. Comfortable interstate cruising and a lot
of fun in the corners. All the build info, a car cover, show boards
all come with the car. This is a show quality car that you will be
proud to drive to cruise night or to your next show.
