This 1963 International Harvester Scout 80 was acquired by the seller in 2022. The previous owner refurbished and modified the vehicle in 2011. The truck is finished in Woodland Brown Metallic over two-tone upholstery and powered by a replacement 327ci V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes 15″ wheels, power-assisted brakes, power steering, Toyota-sourced axles and springs, a winch, an LED light bar, a roll bar, and a roof basket. This Scout 80 is offered with a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.
Work performed during previous ownership included removing the body from the frame, shaving the door handles, modifying the tailgate, performing rust repairs, and repainting the exterior in Woodland Brown Metallic. A Ford F-100 fuel tank has been installed and is linked to an integrated fuel door. Additional details include a steel front bumper with a Smittybilt winch, a fold-flat windshield, an LED light bar, and a roof basket.
Aftermarket 15″ wheels are finished in black and wear 35×12.5″ Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires. The front end of the frame has been narrowed, and equipment includes manually-locking front hubs, power-assisted brakes, and Toyota-sourced axles and springs.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in replacement black vinyl with tan inserts. A texturized coating has been applied to the floors, and the metal surfaces are finished in the color of the body. Equipment includes power steering, a roll bar, and three-point front seat belts.
A Chevrolet-branded steering wheel frames replacement Speedhut instruments consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for water temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. A blade-style fuse block is present below the dashboard. The digital odometer displays approximately 270 miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The replacement 327ci V8 was installed by the seller and is equipped with an Edelbrock air cleaner. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The frame has been powder coated, and the axles, drivetrain components, and the underside of the tub were refinished in black.
