The Backdraft RT4 Roadster has been extensively developed and refined over many years as a race proven, high performance sports car. Backdraft Racing Inc. was founded in January 2001 by a couple of Champion LeMan racers, Tony Martin and Reg Dodd, and their desire for high performance is evident in the quality of their product. This example was purchased new in Feb 2021 and is powered by a Ford Racing 427CID monster that was installed by SpeedFanatix of Lake Worth, Florida that's teamed up to a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission, a Ford 8.8'' Independent Rear End, a 3.55 Posi rear end and adjustable coil-overs on all 4 corners, so it certainly has no issue putting all that power down on the pavement! These are the epitome of what classic reproduction Cobra's should be. The interior features a gorgeous diamond-patterned cream leather upholstery on the bucket seats along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes an under-dash mounted audio/Bluetooth controller, high end Hertz speakers, a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, a carpeted trunk complete with a JL Audio subwoofer, Sabelt four-point harnesses, sun visors, wind wings, Backdraft Racing-branded floor mats, door pockets and the iconic wooden Cobra steering wheel.
