CJ8 SCRAMBLER *FULLY RESTORED *EVERY NUT AND BOLT *LIKE NEW FOR
SALE IS A FULLY RESTORED 1981 JEEP CJ8 SCRAMBLER. Every nut and
bolt on this vehicle is new or rebuilt to OEM specifications. Look
at the photos and video and see for yourself it will blow your
mind. All body components are new and the tub is protected with
Line-X. The frame was fuller powder coated and refurbished, it is
better than new. The drivetrain has all its original factory items.
It is equipped with its original 2.5L 151ci 4 cylinder "Tron Duke"
engine that was fully rebuilt. T4, 4-speed transmission. Dana 300
Transfer Case. Dana Rear Differential with Solid Rear Axle
Conversion. Dana Front Differential. All original to this CJ8 and
fully rebuilt. Mechanically it runs and drives excellent. There is
less than a 100 Miles on the drivetrain. So it still has not even
been broken into completely. Runs and drives excellent. Suspension
is nice and tight. BFG 33X12 50R15. New rims. Fiberglass half top
is available. This scrambler is like new, and almost complete. It
only really needs a few more things; Installation of the Heater
control cables, door locks, and mainly if you are a CA resident it
needs some smog adjustments. Vehicle was equipped with Factory
installed California Emission according to the previous owner. The
carburetor still needs an adjustment for CA smog and it has
catalytic converters but they do not have the CA complaint stamp on
it. Someone out of state wouldn't have to deal with any of that. I
don't know of another scrambler that was rebuilt like this. You
would spend double our asking price attempting to fully restore a
scrambler like this.
