This 1990 Chrysler TC by Maserati, one of only 7,300 ever made in
its 2 years of production, is a hand-crafted convertible two seat
semi-exotic car designed and produced by a partnership between
Chrysler (Iacoca) and Alejandro de Tomaso (race car driver for
Maserati and founder of De Tomaso car company in Modena,
Italy).
With only 23,563 original miles, this true survivor has the 3.0L V6
engine with Ultradrive 4 speed automatic transmission.
The TC features a detachable hard top with circular, beveled-glass
opera windows and a six-point latching system and a manually
operated cloth lined convertible top. The interior is complete with
hand-stitched Italian leather and doorjambs are finished with
stainless steel panels and sill plates. The convertible boot, over
which the hardtop rests, is a body-colored metal panel.
As Hagerty so rightly points out: QUOTE: Aficionados consider these
to be the best Maserati ever built, as well as the best Chrysler
ever built. In the current market, they are a hand-built bargain,
though restoration candidates will put you underwater fast. Better
to buy the best one and take care of it.
And this is the best one we have EVER seen. Please view the
undercarriage pictures at www.atomicmotors.net. This car is truly
exceptional and very collectible.
