original 228 c.i. straight six engine and 3 speed manual
transmission. The engine compartment has been detailed to impress
at any small show or cruise in. Most of the chrome and stainless
are all original, including the grill, hood trim, headlight trim
and GMC emblems have been polished which which validates the the
care this truck has had over the years. The bumpers have been
replaced with new chrome ones because they had blemishes and they
look great.
The running boards have been painted to match for a higher end
finish look. The wood in box has been restored and is protected by
a tonneau cover that can be snapped on or removed completely
depending on the look you desire. The black and red interior is
super clean and features black upholstery on the original bench
seat, new headliner, new door panels, painted to match dash,
restored steering wheel, black carpet, retro radio and polished
chrome dash bezels and garnish moldings. This iconic five window
pickup is rolling on restored, painted to match steel wheels, new
chrome GMC center caps and new wide white tires for timeless good
looks.
