A Mercedes-Benz staple since the 1950s, the SL continues to be one
of the most coveted status symbols for the brand. The 2012
Mercedes-Benz SL convertible body style was originally released in
2003, yet its shape is still considered modern and timeless. The
2012 Mercedes-Benz SL features a retractable hardtop providing
owners the open-air freedom of a convertible or the quiet and solid
feel of a traditional coupe. Through five generations, the SL has
evolved from a lightweight racer to a large, luxurious cruiser.
However, a pair of V-8 engines ensures that the roadster is quick
enough to keep up with some of the fastest sports cars on the
market. The two-seater SL has been designed to ensure a comfortable
and quiet ride for both top up or top down driving. The SL550 comes
standard with a number of leather and wood trim choices, automatic
dual-climate control, navigation, HD radio, and power adjustable
seats that also feature heating and ventilating functions.
Additionally, the seats come standard with the AIRSCARF system,
which blows heated air around the neck area for added warmth during
