This is a strong running 96 Cobra. It has been lowered 4 inches with wider tires. Tires and Rims have approximately 2K miles on them. Small scratches on passenger side rims.
Motor is clearly not stock. I had an original 96 cobra bought new, and this car is significantly faster.
Car came to me with a stage 3 clutch, which was too much for the street. It has a stage 2 clutch with 2K miles on it.
It has an upgrade Borg Warner 5 speed transmission, which is much beefier than the stock unit.
It has a cold air intake, an upgraded radiator (because all 96s had radiators that were too small), high performance coils and wires.
The car has been lowered 4 inches; it turns and handles way better than a stock Cobra.
The car has a front bumper facia from a regular GT Mustang. I believe this was done because the Cobra bumper cover would be too low with the entire car lowered 4 inches.
The AC works great and blows cold air as cold as from the factory.
As an owner of a bone stock 96 convertible, this coupe corners way better and accelerates much harder. The sound of the Dynomax exhaust turns heads at car shows for sure.
