This 1989 Puch/Mercedes 230GE is an ex-Swiss military vehicle that was imported to the US by the seller from Germany, after a full restoration in 2015 and it is currently located and registered in Reno NV. It’s been driven very little since then and never been off read. The truck has been fitted with Mercedes 18” Aluminum wheels, updated original Mercedes classic G Wagon Seats. The new canvas top (stayfast material) is custom designed and made for easy removal or simple roll-up from all sides. Additional equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, for 2x4 or 4x4 drive as well as low range and a rear locking differential. It displays it’s military history with many details like the jerry can holder, 24V master switch, pintle hook hitch, spade/shovel holder, radio military antenna etc. A cage divider separates the front from the cargo area. The Vehicle has a 2.3-liter fuel-injected 4-cylinder Mercedes gasoline engine with a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 180-km/h speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The Swiss military meticulously maintains their vehicles and it shows on this one. The five-digit odometer has likely rolled over and shows approx. 6,000 (106,000) kilometers (~65k miles). Total mileage is unknown. Tires are 90%. Pls see pictures for details additional details.
