Vehicle Description
1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 For Sale - Incredible Unrestored
Survivor, Only 11,372 Original Miles LMC is very proud to offer for
sale this 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 The 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429
is an iconic American muscle car that exudes power and performance.
Fords desire to win at NASCAR and homologation rules allowed them
to utilize their new BOSS 429 motor into a production car. They
were built in limited numbers at Kar Kraft, who had to make several
modifications in order to allow the massive 429ci to fit between
the shock towers. The potent BOSS 429 cubic-inch V8 engine was
extremely underrated at the advertised 375 horsepower and 450 lb-ft
of torque. With only a 2-year production run of in '69 and even
less for 1970, they are among the rarest, most sought after
Mustangs on the planet. Some early cars were known as "S" code cars
and as such had a slightly different engine. These cars had
magnesium valve covers, NASCAR style forged internals, nearly no
smog or emissions equipment and are said to be more powerful than
the later "T" and "A" code engines which had the emissions related
equipment to satisfy government regulations. All This incredible
Black Jade Boss 429 was built on March 7th, 1969 and sold new on
April 4th through Phil Fitts Ford in New Castle, PA for the final
price of $5,229.58 as reflected on the original bill of sale. The
original purchaser nicely equipped his new Boss with 3.91 ratio
traction lok rear axle, console, power front disc brakes, am radio,
deluxe belts, power steering, competition suspension, functional
front air spoiler, color keyed mirrors and trunk mounted battery.
This Boss 429 is one of very few that remain in original and
unrestored condition as it was purchased from its original owner in
2013 by LMC. Incredibly preserved by its original owner, it has
always been meticulously maintained with only 11,372 original miles
from new and still retains its numbers matching Boss S code
429ci/375hp engine. The interior is all original and looks
exceptional with very little wear for its age. Underneath the car,
you can still see evidence of factory batch primer with body color
over spray, assembly markings, paint drips and chalk marks just as
it left the assembly line. Documenting the exceptional original
Boss 429 is the original bill of sale, registration paperwork,
Marti report, owner's manuals, dealer brochure and more. Today the
car remains in unrestored condition and is an outstanding survivor
example perfect for the Ford enthusiast who appreciates
originality. A stunning example of a very desirable car with proven
provenance - for the astute collector this is the ultimate
combination. Additional Details: 1969 FORD MUSTANG BOSS 429 -
