Vehicle Description
Description coming soon, call for detailsDrop-top fun, a
feature-filled A/C interior, and a fuel-injected LS1 upgrade under
the hood all make this awesome. And because this restomod is also a
1965 Pontiac GTO tribute, it means this convertible always gets
respect wherever it goes.
Stacked headlights, a hood scoop, correct badging, and the cool
rear panel are all what make this GTO tribute look like a genuine
icon. And there are also some nice upgrades to let you know this is
a cool cruiser. The creamy white roof goes well with the profile
pinstripe, and the darker red paint also has a nice metallic glow
for when this convertible is out in the sunshine. As you look over
the full package, it's important to understand what this car
represents: the freedom to enjoy. It's a correct-looking GTO
tribute, but since it's not a sacred Goat, it's easier to update
without running afoul of purists. So it's great with its current
upgrades, and you may even choose to make it even more personal. We
also like that this is unashamedly a driver. It looks quite good
when it's out on the streets, and its fit and finish won't make you
nervous about getting out there and doing the longer road trips.
And as you look over the full features, you can see how this is the
one you'll want to take on The Power Tour.
Beneath the creamy white roof is a creamy white interior. So the
full color package is attractive with the top on or off. And this
restored setup is a nice mix of vintage and new. The door panels,
dash, center console, and other details are pure classic fun. But
it's also easy to spot some worthwhile upgrades. Cold-blowing R134a
air conditioning is terrific in a drop-top, and the AM/FM stereo
with Bluetooth means you have the best in modern driving music. We
love how the upholstery keeps the classic Pontiac arrowhead
pattern, but those front seats are certainly not stock. The later
model buckets have terrific individual bolstering and are even
power-adjustable. And so if this sounds like a great
anytime-driving package, then you'll really love the driver-focused
upgrades like the wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, tilt column,
and full set of Classic Instruments readouts.
Under the hood is a well-done upgrade. The 5.7-liter LS1 is a great
fuel-injected powerhouse. And there's even some history here since
the final-gen GTOs had LS1 power - and the engine covers remind you
of that. This modern motor has a tidy setup, and you can even see
good details like the Optima red top battery and an aluminum
radiator w/electric fan. The V8 fires up readily like a good modern
FI machine should. And this is ready to hit the road with a
four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, power steering,
power brakes, front discs, and modern sport tires afforded by the
Billet Specialties wheel upgrade.
Currently on a salvage title, this GTO tribute was reimagined to be
a true driver, and that gives it some serious appeal for those of
us who want to fully enjoy a drop-top legend. Call today!!!
