This Contemporary Cobra built by Contemporary Classic Motor Car
Company in MT. Vernon, New York and its has a chassis# of
CCX-3-3422. It was crafted after the infamous 1965 Shelby Cobra
chassis number CSX3045 original Cobra as the master tooling to
create the one-piece fiberglass mold for Contemporary Classics
Cobra replicas. It boasts a round-tube ladder chassis and
suspension setup very similar to Shelby's originals and the rear
end is a rugged Jag/Salisbury setup, also faithfully authentic in
performance to those Salisbury setups in the originals. The engine
is an original cast-iron 427ci FE engine back by a rugged Ford Top
loader gearbox. The Ford 427ci FE big-block engine is fitted with
Inglese Stack Four 2-barrel (48mm) Weber carburetors with
ball-bearing & gimbaled carburetor linkage. Period-correct CNC
aluminum brake & clutch reservoirs with original-style ribbed
aluminum valve covers along with MSD ignition ensemble SS
(stainless steel) braided lines and ANSA fittings single-row
high-performance aluminum core radiator with large thermostatically
controlled electric fan (puller-mounted) and Inglese Weber intake
manifold remote oil filters. This Cobra has Goodyear Eagle GS-C
P255/45ZR17 Tires mounted on Cobra Racing Performance 17" Knock-off
rims on the front and Goodyear Eagle F1 P315/45ZR17 mounted on the
Rear. The 4 into 1 side pipes rumble as it breaths life under the
427ci FE engine. The Open front of the Cobra lets fresh air into
the Aluminum radiator with eclectic cooling fans to cool it down.
