Here we have a 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Cobra Jet for sale. This
was the last year for this package with the Cobra Jet engine and
the one we have for you has undergone a beautiful restoration. It's
a factory Cobra Jet optioned car with the Four Speed Transmission.
It comes with the Deluxe Marti Report as well. Down the sides are
laser straight and all the body lines flow beautifully from front
to back. It has a very nice fit of all the panels as well, and the
doors, hood, and trunk open and close with a great fit. This Mach 1
is showcased by the Bright Blue Metallic paint that has been redone
in the base coat clear coat and is accented by the Gray Stripes
down the sides, back and hood. The paint has a gorgeous finish
that's been polished out and is slick as ribbon. It sports both the
front and rear spoilers along with having the rear window louvers.
All the glass is in excellent condition with the side glass going
up and down with ease. It has been tinted to provide an excellent
complement. To finish off the stance it's sitting on the Magnum 500
Wheels with BF Goodrich Radial T/A White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Mach 1. On the inside
it's done in the blue color combo that flows perfectly with the
exterior. The door panels are in great condition and feature a wood
grain accent, standard crank windows, and driver remote mirror.
This '72 features the Sports Bucket option that was upgraded with
TMI seats that are styled to emulate the factory style while
upgrading the ride. Out back it has a fold down seat and seat
belts. We can also see that the speakers have been upgraded. A new
headliner was installed along with new carpet. Looking at the dash
you can see that the pad is in excellent condition and that it also
features the wood grain accent. All the gauges are in excellent
condition and working as they should. It has had the radio upgraded
to a digital knobbed unit. This Mustang has the factory four speed
shifter in the floor along with having the factory steering wheel.
Inside the trunk is all solid from the pan to the jam and comes
with the trunk mat.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood
we can see that it has an equally impressive eye to detail. It
features the Ram Air hood, and we can se the inner fenders and
firewall are all solid. The power comes from the Matching Numbers
351 Cleveland Engine that's set up with the four-barrel Holley
Carb. It's dressed out in the factory style air cleaner, and the
painted valve covers. This Cobra Jet is set up with Power Steering
along with Power Brakes with Disc on the front. For exhaust it's
set up with headers and new dual pipes and flow master style
mufflers. The 351 Cleveland is mated to the Four Speed Manual Trans
and the 9" Rear End with 3.50 Limited Slip gears. When you look
under this Mustang you can see that everything is solid and in
great condition. They have put in a rear driver floor patch and did
an excellent job with the installation. At the time of the
restoration all new shocks and front springs were installed. It
also has new bushings installed up front along with new ball
joints. On the highway you couldn't ask for a nicer ride as it
handles with ease and is a blast to drive. Don't miss your chance
