For the purists out there, this is a numbers matching car that has been mostly restored. Body off restoration in 1989, documented with photos of entire frame removal and replacement with new frame. Brake line replaced, ball joints, a-frame and body bushings. Engine was removed, with valve job, new guide seats, timing chain and gears, harmonic balancer, Edelbrock intake, transmission and rear differential rebuilt, clutch and pressure plate were replaced, as well as drive shaft and axle shafts u-joints.
After 2013, other improvements included rubber fuel hoses, fuel pump, rebuilt Quadrajet carb was rebuilt, brake system was upgraded with GM stainless steel o-ringed calipers, rotors, GM wiper motor, oil pump, Magnaflow 2 ½” exhaust system.
Entire body was stripped by hand with a razor blade and fiberglass repaired as needed. The car was originally green but was repainted with ureathane base coat 71-72 Ontario Orange and clear coated. Bumpers replaced, along with door and rear window seals.
This car runs and drives like a dream!
