Vehicle Description
These S13 and 14 plat-form 240 SX Nissans built from 1989 through
1998 are extremely popular in todays drifting and tuner culture
because of its front engine rear wheel drive layout which is almost
non-existent anymore. Also an important note is that the steering
on these has always been revered for being precise making for
excellent handling. In 1992 a Convertible was available by ASC in
California for North American consumers. Roughly 8,000 Convertibles
were built by American Sunroof corp.
This particular little stunner has traveled just over 50,000 miles
since new and most recently been owned by a collector and largely
sat in climate controlled storage and the only need is maybe tires.
The top operates easily, the interior is in good condition with the
exception of the a small tear in the driver bolster, the paint is
good and the engine bay looks like new. This 240 starts, idles,
shifts, brakes and goes down the road like it should with no leaks,
smoke, smells or rattles. There is a minor accident listed on the
carfax which I have yet to figure out where or what because I don't
see any re-spray or overspray and all the panels are original.
These are becoming very hard to find in unmolested condition and
just a quick search of parts for these had me astounded at what
parts are being sold at.
