This vehicle is part of a collection of 442's we purchased from a
gentleman in Chicago. He individually handpicked each of these cars
to fit the high-quality standard he was looking for. This
collection of 442's ranged from 1964-1971 and took 25 years to
build! Unfortunately, due to heath issues the gentleman was having,
he needed to part with his meticulously chosen collection, that he
loved, and cared for greatly. Although it is an unfortunate
situation, it brings great opportunity for you to own a piece of
history. These cars are truly one of a kind, and some of the
cleanest and rarest, show quality 442's that you will find!
This 1970 442 is finished in a beautiful red paint job with black
stripes that has a super slick high gloss finish! This car has
received a full top-quality restoration, and no expense was spared!
The red and black exterior is paired with a black vinyl interior
and a black vinyl top! What a great combo! This car has recently
undergone a professional detail including a full paint correction
and a one-year sealant to protect it! The exterior of this car is
as clean as can be, everything is in excellent condition from the
paint to the chrome and stainless trim and bumpers, glass, grill
and lighting, vinyl top, and the proper wheels wrapped in a set of
white lettered BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires! The exterior has a
great look with the induction hood and rear spoiler! The bucket/
console interior is super clean as well, take a look at the seats,
door panels, carpet, headliner, steering wheel, and everything
else! This car rides like a dream with plenty of get up and go,
power steering, and power front disk brakes and the interior has a
great, comfortable feel! Under the hood is the 455CI V8 paired with
a console shifted automatic transmission! This engine bay is as
clean as the rest of the car, with the proper air induction system,
braded lines and hoses, chrome valve covers, chrome alternator,
brake booster/reservoir and more! This engine bay was super nicely
done and is sure to grab attention! The trunk is also fished with a
carpeted mat, spare tire with cover, and jack/ equipment! It
doesn't stop there... look at that undercarriage! Underneath you
will find a nicely restored undercarriage with chrome front and
rear sway bars, chrome rear brake drums, transmission pan, control
arms, and steering components, front brake calipers and backing
plates... Not an expense was spared, and it looks great! This is
truly one of the cleanest examples of a 442 you will find!
