Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to digitally present
this 1979 Buick Electra Limited. According to the current owner,
they have enjoyed the car for over a year and claims to be the 2nd
owner. The owner was able to provide purchase documents dated from
1978, an info booklet, order broadcast codes, and some service
records. The invoice shows the car was purchased from Berndt Buick
Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Walking around this GM time
capsule one should notice the dark red gloss paint with a matching
vinyl rear top. Adding to the curb appeal are chrome bumpers,
chrome grille, gold pin striping, chrome mirrors, and 15" chrome
wheels wrapped in white wall radial tires. The red-on-red interior
flows well with the exterior color theme. This land yacht gives a
luxury feel mixed with V8 performance for a smooth and comfortable
ride. Some options include woodgrain interior inserts, R12 air
conditioning, AM/FM radio, power brakes, power steering, power
locks, power windows, seat belts, cloth seats, carpeting, and a
power adjustable seat. Powering this beast is a 5.7L V8 that the
factory rated with an output of 155bhp and 280lb/ft of torque. This
powerplant is backed by a 3-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission.
The odometer reads just under 15,500 miles that is undocumented but
believed to be the miles driven since it was knew (owner claims,
not verified by Gateway Classic Cars). If you are looking for a
piece of Buick history, this example could be the one for you. This
