PT series of trucks that Plymouth introduced in 1937. The PT series
was Plymouth's first attempt at building trucks, and they were well
received by the public for their style, performance and durability.
The 1939 model was the last year of the PT series before World War
II halted production. The 1939 model featured a new grille design,
a longer wheelbase, and a more powerful 201-cid inline 6-cylinder
engine with PT 81 stamp. This engine produced 82 horsepower and was
paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. This truck has been well
maintained and cared for by its previous owners and is now part of
a private collection a low mileage classic vehicles. It has all
steel body panels which are rust free. Optional features include
aftermarket front turn signals, adjustable outside sideview mirror,
opening front windshield, add-on Chevrolet Deluxe Heater under the
dash, red steel painted tires with chrome hubs and trim rings, and
new radial tires in the rear. The truck starts runs and drives but
has been driven sparingly over the last couple of years so will
need to be gone through in order to insure that everything is in
proper working order. Call Jeff for more information or to schedule
