Mechanical
Our Chevy has a 350 cubic inch engine in it and everything appears
great with the Holley chrome open element air cleaner assembly,
engine block, heads, and intake painted, performance distributor,
Edelbrock aluminum finned valve covers, factory cast iron exhaust
manifolds, power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning,
hoses, and the dual exhaust system, and backed by a factory three
speed automatic transmission.
It runs and drives extremely well as the transmission shifts on the
mark through all the gears and sits in a very clean and detailed
engine compartment that looks fresh.
It rides on raised white letter Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires on
Chevrolet factory wheels with trim rings and caps.
Interior
The interior is very clean and looks very good with its twin bucket
like seats in red cloth with the console/center pull down seat in
between.
It has a red factory dash with digital gauges and factory controls,
Chevy black steering wheel, air conditioning, pushbutton radio, red
carpet, seatbelts, cruise control, power door locks and power
windows.
Exterior
Our 1982 has slick red exterior paint over the body made to look
like a 1987 square body with chrome front bumper, chrome step rear
bumper, a bed liner, polished bed rails, dual mirrors, dual
exhaust, clean chassis, and all the trim, emblems, and glass that
look great as well.
Conclusion
This is a 1982 Chevrolet Silverado made to look like an 1987 square
body we have here at Skyway Classics that is a great truck to drive
and enjoy and won't break the bank like a new one would.
It has been redone and has the great red paint job, V8 power, nice
interior, and that square body look that many are looking for.
