1950 Ford Business Coupe Mild custom

You are viewing a very nice and solid rust free car owned for 20 years.  The car was a full body off frame restoration finished 15 years ago with 14K miles driven since completed.  Professional body off frame restoration with exceptional body and paint work.  80K plus into the build.

Body/Paint: 
The body is all original steel in excellent condition when started with only a couple small patch panel patches with no bondo on the car.  Only steel and lead work done on the custom areas.  Much time and effort was put into making the body as straight as possible and it shows.  The body has been shaved with custom work done on the front end, grille and tail lights.  Frenched headlights with 59 Cadillac tail lights.  The car still retains its drip rails.  Custom turn signals.  Many coats of white primer, block sanded in between each coat with 5 coats of Sikkens brand custom candy orange pearl followed with multiple coats of clear.  Wet sanded and polished.  The rally stripes are white over clear.  The paint is exceptional on this car and shows super nice with many awards for paint over the years and looks like it was done just a few years ago.   

Interior:  Cloth bucket electric seats, electric windows, power brakes and steering with tilt column.  Single CD player stereo system with 4 speakers.  Small jump seats in the rear.  Complete Auto Meter gauge package set up with shift light.       

Running Gear:  468 bored and stroked 454, roller rockers, NOS set up rarely used with separate fuel supply for NOS and regular fuel, built as an LS6 balanced and blue printed with square port heads hydraulic lifters.  Approximately 550 horse with NOS adding 300 horse power.  Very drivable and tame until you get into it. 750 Holley with electric puller fan.  B&M 400 Turbo with shift kit transmission with 2800 stall converter.  Custom HD Ford 9 inch reinforced with 373 posi and 31 spline axles.  Stainless steel 22 gallon gas tank.     

Suspension:  Fatman front suspension power rack, just completely rebuilt, ball joints and tie rods with Aladdin rear coil overs with latter bars.  Very sold original frame and suspension.

Bright work:  All bright work looks good with Briz custom aluminum bumpers.    

Glass:   All replaced tinted side and rear.

Exhaust:  Headers and dueled off with 3 inch pipe and electric cut outs.  Laker pipes are for looks only.

Brakes:  Electric power brakes, disc front drum rear.

Wheels/Tires:  American Racing 5 spoke wheels with brand new tires on the front, 7 inch front and 10 inch rear wheels.  205/60 15 and Hoosier 29X 15.50 R15s rear, radials. 

Summary:  If you are seeking a super cool shoebox with some horse power this car is worthy of your consideration.  Good solid car and beautifully restored.  I have 100 pictures of the car so please contact me and provide your email address if you would like additional pictures.
