1976 Trans Am 455 HO- 4 Speed- WS4
This 1976 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is powered by its original
drivetrain, including the 455ci V8 engine backed by its
matching-numbers 4-speed manual transmission. It has had the
rear-end gearing to a 3.74 gear ratio vs. the factory posi-traction
rear end. It was recently repainted with it's original Carousel Red
color. Since owned by the current owner, the car has received a new
Pypes exhaust, fuel tank, aluminum radiator with dual electric
fans, new tires, frame extenders and a new front fascia (replaced
the old urethane with fiberglass). Prior to that, the previous
owner put in a new intake, carb, new seat covers, carpeting,
headliner, brakes, shocks, springs and upgraded gauges. The engine
breathes from the shaker hood intake vs the factory configuration .
The car has the rear-seat console option (rare) and has had the A/C
delete kit installed. The inerior is finished in black. This Trans
Am is factory-equipped with power disc brakes, power steering. It
is optioned with a shaker hood and 15-inch Rally wheels. The
vehicle's black bucket-seat interior features a center console,
remote driver's side-view mirror, a factory 8-track player and an
aftermarket AM/FM bluetooth stereo with new retro-style rear
speakers. The factory 8 track is not operational, but still cool
just the same. Car is showing 2k miles on odometer but that is
following the restoration update (title reads mileage exempt). This

There is "garage bump" damage on the front as noted in the
pictures. It was estimated by a high end professional shop at
$2,200 for repair. Overall, this an excellent example for cruise
events, shows and simply a fun driver! You can't go wrong with the
455 HO 4speed in this year Trans Am. (Production was only 7,099.).
