The first generation Thunderbird has always been a popular option
for enthusiasts looking for a small, V8-powered roadster with that
iconic '50's styling and more luxurious options than your standard
sports car of the time. This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is a very nice
example of these iconic sports cars that benefits from a ~15 year
old restoration that still presents extremely well today. This
gorgeous Thunderbird's Light Blue exterior is in excellent
condition and is complimented nicely by its factory chrome and
stainless trim, White removable hardtop, and factory steel wheels
with period correct hubcaps wrapped in Coker Classic wide white
wall tires. The Factory style, White removable hardtop is in
excellent condition. The Thunderbird's White vinyl soft top is in
fair condition with a hole on either side of the top. The Light
Blue interior is in very good condition with minor age present.
Powering this beautiful Thunderbird is its correct, D-code 312
cubic inch V8 backed by its Ford-o-matic 3-speed automatic
transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just as they
should. This Ford Thunderbird is nicely equipped with options such
as: power steering, power brakes, AM radio, in-dash tach (in-op),
variable speed wipers, and heater/defrost. If you are in the market
for a turn-key ready 1st gen Thunderbird that would present well at
your local cruise-in or car show, then you will want to take a very
close look at this 1957 Ford Thunderbird.
