1 family owned for 45 years. We bought this from a gentleman in
California, his dad bought it in 1977. His dad passed at an early
age and the car got parked. When the son could finally afford it he
had the car completely restored and upgraded in honor of his
father. He said his dad would have a 2nd heart attack if he knew
how much he spent!
EXTERIOR: The body is really impressive. It's straight and fits
right. No rust or damage. It has front and rear spoilers. The red
paint is polished like glass. The nose stripe is painted on. The
chrome and stainless is in very good condition. The windshield and
rear window were replaced. The weatherstrips and window seals were
replaced. It's sitting proud on a set of 17 inch Budnick wheels
with BFG G-Force performance tires, wider in back. The Rally Sport
includes electric headlight doors, rocker moldings and relocated
reverse lights.
INTERIOR: It has a deluxe interior which includes the molded door
panels and upgraded upholstery. Although this one is upgraded with
leather sport bucket seats. In back it has a rare fold down seat.
It also has a factory console with a Hurst 5-speed. It has a
complete set of factory gauges including a working clock and a
tachometer. The dash in front of me all looks really good. The
knobs, dash pad, trim, heater control panel etc. The custom cushion
grip wheel is on a tilt column. Upgraded stereo has speakers in the
doors and 6x9 in back. Door panels, carpet, headliner and visors
are all in excellent shape.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: GM Crate 350-385 hp/405 lbs of torque. It has
aluminum heads and intake, Holley carb, HEI ignition and coated
headers. It looks like all the components have been replaced like
the power brake system, wiper motor, alternator, power steering
pump etc. The radiator, clutch fan and shroud look new too.
Completely updated heat and air conditioning system.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted
red. Inside the trunk is solid metal with a gray spatter finish.
The weatherstrip and mat have been replaced.
UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension has been
completely rebuilt. It has an upgraded swaybar and lowering
springs. The rear suspension has been rebuilt with new bushings,
lowering blocks and shocks. Factory style dual exhaust with a
transverse muffler. The fuel system was replaced including the
tank. The brake system has been completely redone and upgraded with
Baer drilled and slotted disc at all 4 wheels, e-brake is hooked
up. Looking up at the motor it is clean, starter is clean. Upgraded
with a 5-speed Tremec trans. Rebuilt drive shaft. Original 12 bolt
posi rear end. The metal under this car is bone dry like a
chalkboard. The frame rails, floors, rockers, and lower quarters
are clean.

headlight doors. Repaired exhaust leak.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
