This 1985 GMC K1500 is in very original condition and has been treated to a light cosmetic restoration. This truck was repainted in its original Midnight Blue color, the paint shines with a deep luster presenting with just a few minor chips and flaws across the finish. The rear truck bed was coated with a spray-on protective bedliner. The cab features the factory rear sliding window. The front bumper and related stainless are in good condition showing only some light patina and the rear painted step-bumper is straight and free of any dents. The body was undercoated when new which supports the solid body panels. The interior looks amazing with new seat upholstery and the carpet replaced. The storage compartment behind the folding seat still features the cardboard liner which is often missing. The door panels are original and are in very good condition. Options include power windows and door locks, tilt steering, A/C, Delco AM/FM Cassette player, and factory auxiliary tank. Engine vitals are monitored by factory dash gauges and a quartz dash clock. Under the hood sits a 305 V8 with a 4bbl carburetor. The engine compartment is unrestored but has been kept well-maintained and clean. The factory floor jack and related equipment are still present. The engine rumbles nicely through a custom bent dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The power is transferred through a 4-speed GM Hydramatic Automatic transmission to a manually shifted transfer case which directs the power to the front and rear differentials equipped with 3.08:1 gears. The front differential features manual locking wheel hubs. Underneath the frame and floors are unrestored but free of any rust through. The suspension is well maintained with recent shocks and a steering stabilizer installed. This truck features power-assisted steering with power brakes with front disc brakes and rear drums. This truck sits at a stock height rolling on the factory steel rally wheels wrapped with P235/75R15 BF Goodrich Radial All-Terrain T/A tires. This truck has clearly been well cared for and looks amazing. It would be a great summer truck for daily use or just some fun weekend rides.
