Vehicle Description
With its V8 power, a leather interior, cold-blowing A/C, a
Bluetooth stereo, other well-placed upgrades, and a detailed color
theme, this 1964 AMC Rambler American is a nicely-priced classic
hardtop with plenty of distinction.
We love a good AMC because they represent a cool classic American.
And since their production figures were lower than The Big Three,
that makes for plenty of rare distinction on the classic car scene.
But you don't even need to talk about production numbers when
looking at this car. It likes to be quite individual with a cool
paint package that gives you a sleek silver metallic, and a
tasteful gray used for stripes on the rockers and sports stripes.
It's a stylish and sporty two-tone, and the bright orange pinstripe
adds an extra lively touch. That added performance style is
continued on details like the rear spoiler, polished dual exhaust
tips, 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels, and the
forward-leaning stance helped by the extra meaty rear tires. The
full package is vintage, clean, and quite complete, and there's a
driver quality feeling that lets you know this one was made to be
easy to enjoy whenever you're ready.
The interior is a terrific mix of added luxury and driver-ready
upgrades. The best place to understand both of these together is on
the pair of bucket seats. These are supple leather seats borrowed
from a late-model Lincoln and are power adjustable. The black seats
go well with the clean look of the black door panels, headliner,
and carpeting (including covering the rear seat delete.) There are
nice comfort upgrades like an AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth and
cold-blowing air conditioning. You also know this is a driver's
coupe with upgrades like the sports steering wheel, tilt column,
Bosch auxiliary readouts, B&M shifter, and cool hood tach.
AMC was purchased by Chrysler, and so it's kind of fun to have the
motor upgraded to a Mopar 318 cubic-inch V8. We also like the
upgrade because this is a hardy powerhouse that loves additions. So
this now includes a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a high-rise
aluminum intake, and a large aluminum radiator with an electric
fan. Plus, you just know you can do some added tuning and/or easy
additions to unlock even more power. A three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and rear
traction bars complete a solid driver's package.
This Rambler has a terrific upgraded style that tells you it loves
to be driven and enjoyed. So this is road-ready distinction for
quite a nice price. Call today!!!
