Vehicle Description
The 1990 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a well-preserved classic
loaded with awesome features like cold-blowing air conditioning, a
desirable leather interior, and a color-matched hardtop. It makes
for the kind of V8 cruiser that's appealing for far more than just
its value price.
The factory-correct Bright Red continues to shine brightly. It's
believed to be the original application, and it retains a stock
style considering this has seen less use than many others
(averaging under 2700 miles annually.) The panels fit well to give
you that unmistakable C4 wedge-shaped profile. We like the earlier
C4 design, and this was the last year for it. These had a stylish
touch of darkness on the door handles and waistline trim that
encircles the full car, and it goes quite nicely with the black
convertible top. But that may not even be your favorite way to be
buttoned up in this C4. The color-mated hardtop is a rarely-seen
feature that gives this a distinct and sporty profile (it's unknown
if the hardtop is a factory or aftermarket model.) While color is
the key to this car's style, there's also the right amount of
brightwork flair that showcases sporty pieces like those distinct
17-inch directional alloy wheels and upgraded quad exhaust
tips.
The black accents of the exterior get you ready for the all-black
interior. And you can tell by the clean look of the leather
upholstery that the interior has a well-respected style. The 1990
car is unique because it's the only year that keeps many of the
original C4 exterior details, but the interior is the revised setup
that's better contoured and driver-oriented. It remains highly
stock with unique pieces, like the trip computer switches, airbag
sports steering wheel (its first year), and the mix of analog and
digital gauges that is the hallmark of the C4 Corvette. Plus, this
is loaded with everything you want, including power windows, power
locks, power mirrors, and the desirable power-adjustable leather
sports seat option. The idea of this is a nice classic where you
can also enjoy the drive. So the radio is now an AM/FM/CD
touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth. And the air
conditioning is blowing cold, and so this is perfect for still
staying cool while open to the world.
Tilt the whole hood forward to reveal the L98 5.7-liter V8. While
the fuel-injected small block is one of those perfect motors for
tuning, this has a highly stock style that really fits this car's
attitude. So it's exactly the kind of powerplant you want in such a
nicely preserved sports car. With a four-speed automatic
transmission w/overdrive, rack & pinion power steering, cruise
control, and a fully independent suspension, this Corvette has all
the right features to be a great weekend getaway machine.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and maintenance
records. This represents a well-preserved classic that also has the
right upgrades, and that makes for a total package for those who
love a distinctive vintage driver. Call today!!!
