My Sprite has Been Stripped clear down to bare metal. Floor, inner and outer sills, quarter panels, door columns, and bottom of doors replaced with new replacement parts from Moss Motors. When finished the interior area and bottom of car was coated with truck bed liner coating. Once body work was completed we had her primed, and painted. While this was being done I sent the engine to Sperry Engines to be rebuilt. The motor is the 948 cc, complete rebuild including water pump, fuel pump and rebuild on the generator. In the next months I Replaced all the front end parts, quarter eliptical springs, tapered Wheel Bearing kits, coil springs Drum brakes in rear, and disk brakes in front. the rack and pinion steering was tight and did nothing there. new lever shocks all around as well as new master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder. Other parts replaced were Aluminum Radiator with electric fan installed, forward tilt nose kit, new Gas Tank, Sending unit, gas lines and Brake lines also new.
Interior panels were remade and covered in faux Black Leather. Dash also in faux Black Leather. The Seat kits purchased and Carpet also purchased. i sent the seats to Jordans Custom Stitching to have new foam and Leather Coverings installed. The four speed i rebuilt but shelled out gear because no syncro. She now has a 5speed ford tranny, new clutch and throwout bearing.
