COSMETIC
- Paint/Body: The body on this girl is straight and solid. She still has her original paint. Besides a small pop in the door and some minor damage where the hood flew up at one time, the body is in awesome condition. The grill in great shape. The bummers are beautiful, most likely replaced at some point. The paint is faded and flaking but with it being original she has such a cool look to her. A satin clear coat would do wonders to save the originality of the paint and prevent further chipping.
- Interior: The interior is just as sweet as the exterior. She has all the original seats and upholstery. Original door panels are peeling on the bottom but still look pretty nice. Carpet is in good condition, just faded. It could could easily be dyed to look new again. Radio and heater are present but not functioning.
- Glass/Windows: All the glass is in good condition. Windows roll up and down properly.
- Trunk/Bed: Rust free original trunk pan is solid. Spare tire is present. Very clean!
- Undercarriage: The undercarriage of this vehicle is really what sold us on it. It is extremely clean underneath. Solid frame, floor pans, frame rails all in great condition. Exhaust and gas tank have been replaced at some point and are clean. Minimal surface underneath. Very impressive undercarriage that matches the originality of the rest of the car.
- Wheels/Tires: Matching original wheels and hubcaps. The tires are older but they still have great tread.
- Convertible Top: Power top goes up and down perfectly. Convertible top needs to be replaced. We do have the new top, just needs to be installed.
MECHANICAL
- Drivetrain: This car floats down the road like the lead sled she is. The original 352 just had a tune up. New carburetor was installed. Previous owner serviced the transmission. The brakes and an alignment were just done. Engine runs awesome, just purrs as she goes. Automatic transmission shifts through all gears smoothly. This is one of those vehicles you can just jump in it and go!
- Lights/Electrical: Headlights and taillights are functional. The speedometer is working. Turn signals click but need to be troubleshot.
- Brakes: Original manual brakes stop strong and straight. Just serviced!
- Power Options: Power steering works awesome!
