This 1965 GTO was born as an automatic, 389 but during a 2008 restoration was converted to a correct style 4 speed manual transmission with appropriate console, pedals, etc. Yes, we DO still have the original auto trans, console, pedal, etc.
This gorgeous example of a GTO still retains the original 389 Tri-Power engine. Body work is great, floorpans and frame are great, runs and drives great. Very minor oil seepage on rear of transmission. Interior is gorgeous, all gauges work, trunk pan and liner are in great condition. It would be hard to find a better car for the same price!
While in amazing condition, the car is not perfect. there are minor imperfections in the paint that will probably buff out. There are a couple of chips here and there that could be touched up (remember, this restoration is 16 years old.)
