transmission, 350ci V8 engine (270hp), Quadra jet carburetor, dual
exhaust outlets, convertible soft top, concealed headlights,
quadruple tail lights, V-shaped front bumper with a split chromed
rear bumper, factory egg-crate grill, side-fender grills,
"Stingray" badging, rear bumper integrated spoiler, three-spoke
steering wheel, and a driver-side rearview mirror. It is in very
nice overall condition, gaps are nice, no cracks anywhere on the
body. The original paint shows very nice. Chrome and aluminum trims
are original and nice all around. All of the glass is original and
in good condition. The Frame is very solid.
The interior is original 'Saddle' is very good condition. Seats are
nice, no tears or holes. The dash is very clean, no cracks or
decolorating. The door panels are in nice condition but do have
slight cracks. The original AM/FM radio is not working. The
Tachometer, Speedometer & Fuel Gauge are functional. The
Temperature and oil pressure gauge are working. Between the bucket
seats is the original center console which houses the shifter,
emergency brake is in good condition. The steering Wheel looks as
if new. The original convertible white top is in over all good
condition.
The Corvette handles and drives very solid. Bushings, suspensions
and steering components are in good condition, everything is tight.
Original 15' Wheels, beauty rings and center caps in excellent
condition. The 350ci runs very strong no smoke or oil leaks. The
power to weight ratio 270 HP with a torque of 360 lb-ft, manual
4-Speed M20 Transmission and a rear diff is 3.36.1. This beauty is
a thrill to drive, and is mechanically sound. The car sounds good
through the dual exhaust.
This cool "Sting Ray" 1971 Corvette is a unique year for the C3.
