And you can add this to your collection right now here at JMC!Superformance was founded as Superformance International Inc. by Hi-Tech Automotive Ltd. in 1996 and is currently the only firm licensed by Carroll Shelby Licensing, Inc. to build reproductions of the Cobra and the Shelby Cobra continuation models.Titled in Arizona as a 1965 Ford Cobra, this Superformance recreation is finished in Titanium with black stripes. It's powered by a Roush 427 SR with 512hp backed up by a 5-speed, manual TKO 600 transmission. The side pipes were Jet-Hot coated, the shocks have been upgraded to adjustable coil overs.Superformance options include polished and functional quick lifts. At very low 790 actual miles and stored in a temperature and humidity controlled environment its entire life, you won't find a better Cobra at this price.Additional details: Clear Bra Paint Protection on the nose, doors, front of rear fenders, lower rear quarter panels. Numerous painted and polished features on the Roush 427SR engine. Chrome Fire extinguisher mounted between the seats. Hand made seats upholstered in German specification automotive leather. Fully carpeted floor, center console, sides and rear firewall. Slide adjusters for the driver's seat. Latest technology single row high performance aluminum core radiator with 2 thermostatically-controlled electric fans; original specification oil cooler; hand fabricated stainless steel engine louvers; heater unit with 2 speed fan; original style wiper assembly with 2 speeds and 140 degree wiper arc; hand fabricated windshield assembly to original specification, chrome plated. Jig-Welded parallel ladder frame of heavy wall 2 x 4 rectangular steel tubing with large diameter outriggers. Frame incorporates front and rear crumple zones. Door hinge, steering column and windshield pickup-points incorporated onto the main chassis. The front sports fully independent unequal length A-arms with adjustable Bilstein coils over telescopic shock absorbers, while the rear is also independent unequal length A-arms, with fabricated hub carriers and coil over shock absorbers.
