Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 24th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Pontiac's Firebird Trans Am,
released for the 1969 model year, was named after the popular SCCA
Trans American Sedan Championship series. Compared to the
unexpected flood of new customers that Pontiac lured with the 1964
GTO, the Trans Am's modest first-year sales totaled a mere 697
units. But steady refinement, larger engines than competing models,
and flashy graphics started to win customers over. By the time this
beauty was born, sales of T/A's were up 166% over the 1974 figures.
Beneath the iconic shaker hood with the screaming chicken graphics
is the numbers matching (VD 25N557158, BCN 500557) 400 V8.
Additional features include the correct Stellar Blue paint (29),
correct black trim (19), numbers matching 4-speed manual
transmission ( CD 3/20/75, AD 5/2/75), power steering, power
brakes, beefy Hotchkis Performance front and rear sway bars, 3.08
Posi rear end (PW), a true dual exhaust system, a Pioneer AM/FM/CD
stereo, and 225/70R15 tires mounted on classic Pontiac Rally II
wheels. Documentation includes original window sticker, warranty
card, and numerous receipts. We believe that this outstanding
example is an actual 31,641 mile car. The car's overall condition,
original back and side glass (date coded April, 1975), and the
probably original spare tire (GR70-15, code 145), support this. If
this beautiful and correct gem belongs in your collection, call the
team that can make your dream a reality. Mirrored disco ball and
bell bottom jeans not included. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a
