Vehicle Description
When the letters "G", "T", and "O" are combined, smiles behind the
wheel are pretty much guaranteed. This is a real-deal 1965 GTO, the
first to show off the trademark stacked headlights that the GTO is
known for. Powered by a correct, YS-code 389 C.I. Pontiac V8
breathing through a 4-barrel carburetor, this '65 Pontiac is
seriously quick. Sitting behind that 389 and putting torque to the
pavement is a reliable 3-speed automatic transmission, which
ensures a smooth ride with its seamless shifting. The exterior is
bathed in eye-catching bright red paint, which shows its age in
some areas, a good driver-quality paintjob that is by no means
show-quality but one which still looks pretty decent. Opening the
twin doors reveals a clean black vinyl interior, complete with
comfy bucket seats and a full-chrome center console. Options on
this sweet GTO include power steering, power brakes, front disc
brakes, Vintage Air A/C (which blows cold!), a vintage-style AM/FM
digital radio, aftermarket Pioneer rear speakers, an original gauge
cluster, an aftermarket woodgrain steering wheel, SunPro under-dash
aux. gauges, a full-chrome center console, and a sweet-sounding
dual exhaust system. The car rides on a set of 15" Anson "Sprint"
steel wheels over slick blackwall tires for an aggressive, muscular
look! Wrapping 389 cubic inches of V8 together with timeless
styling, this '65 GTO is sure to stand out. It's not a trailer
queen, but it runs and drives like a dream. A true driver's car, it
won't last long on our showroom floor, so don't let it pass you
by!
