Vehicle Description
1962 Chevrolet Corvette
Why This Car Is Special
The 1962 model year ended up being the last model of that era
before the much talked about second-generation Corvette was to

designers like Edward Cole, Zora Arkus-Duntov and Bill Mitchell,
the 1962 C1 Corvette had become an American Sports Car Classic.
The 1962 Chevrolet Corvette we have here at Skyway Classics is a
frame off restored, Roman Red, with the small block GM 350 cubic

bucket seats, black seat belts, black/polished steering wheel,
black carpeting, black dash with all working factory gauges and
instrumentation, push button radio, matching door panels, rear view
mirror, clock, all in good shape.
Exterior
In 1962, the Corvette underwent more than just a mechanical
overhaul as its styling was similar to previous years but the
chrome outlines around the body side coves were dropped and the
coves on ours are painted to match the rest of the Corvette.
This Corvette has Roman Red paint that was completed that is shiny
with great body fitment over its sweet lines, chrome front and rear
bumpers, chrome windshield trim, cross-flag emblems, and chrome
side mirror.
The black manual soft-top and nothing looks classier than a red
Corvette with a black convertible top.
Conclusion
The 1962 Corvette was the fastest and best handling Corvette made
to date back then and to some it was the pinnacle of Corvettes in
that era and beyond.
