miles ago, major mechanical, performance and beautification changes
were made. The makeover
included new engine, vacuum canister to enhance the power brakes,
new power steering pump and
cylinder, MSD ignition , electric cooling fan, electric fuel pump,
body paint, fiberglass hood, stylish rear
bumper cover, Cobra R spoiler, new interior and carpet, exhaust,
sub frame connectors, rear cargo
springs, steering and suspension parts. The original 302 ci was
replaced with a 351 W stroked to 427 ci
producing 529 hp and 542 torque. The engine is coupled to a 3 stage
clutch, T 5 transmission and a 8.8
in rear axle. The engine is all new and contains a roller cam and
lifters, stud girdle, and port matched
intake and heads. The intake valves were enlarged to 2.08. There is
a full complement of cowl and plllar
gauges, an air/fuel gauge and a tach with shift light.
This is a high performance car that is fun to drive and is a winner
