I really cant say enough about these 107 cars as I think they are
one of the classiest modern designed classics ever built....hand
built that is. These SL's of this era were built for nearly twenty
years with only a couple design changes throughout those years. The
one thing that changed was the powertrain options. This particular
stunning example finished in Pewter over Burgandy leather is a very
fine example. A lot of these SL's when they traded hands a lot
ended up getting neglected over the years with service as they do
require upkeep. This is not the case with this car. The SL we are
pleased to represent appears to be a two-owner car with the current
consignor owning this car for the last twenty five years. The car
has been serviced regularly and has all the records to prove it. In
addition, the car comes with a factory hard top and near perfect
soft top, has its original owners/maint. manuals and original keys.
The A/C and climate control appear to work as do all the other
electronics, gauges and lights with no warning lights on the dash.
This SL starts right up and goes down the road as it should with no
smoke or leaking whatsoever. This is a ton of car for the money as
it runs as good as it looks sitting on nice tires and brakes.
