They took the 2.5-liter diesel that came in this 250GD and gave it a full inspection and cleaning. This included refinishing the engine block, new bolts, new gaskets, new crankshaft seals, and a full proper reassembly. During the process, they also added a Garrett turbocharger to make sure it was maximizing the power. The five-speed manual transmission is a smooth shifter that gives you full control over the diesel power - including a low crawler gear. Plus, the high ground clearance, BF Goodrich KO2 tires, individually locking differentials, and beefy manual transfer case assure that you can keep going well after the pavement ends.
